Using Attachment Images in Communications
Has anyone been able to add an attachment to a case record (with specific attachment type i.e. taxi driver picture) and then show the associated image in a communication? Was looking at prints for taxi badges and also site reports etc.

What system are you working in Scott? If you're still on APP you could do this using the Image Settings functionality in WordTool - I looked at it some time ago, but decided against using it for badge photos as it kept unpredictably resizing photos. For our trial, we didn't attach them to the record (although I suppose there's no reason you couldn't attach them to a coded action diary row, if you configured this), but instead saved them in a directory using the record number as the file name, we then configured WordTool to export the image for the applicable export templates, with a «Image:refno» mailmerge tag in the appropriate place on the Word template. We use a similar technique to include signature jpgs on the bottom of various letters as well, in that case picking up the user ID code of the actioning officer.
