Noise App Recordings
Hi, we've been using the noise app in order to allow the public to record and upload the noise nuisances to us at their convenience. A service request is created and then Investigating Officer would currently go to an excel spreadsheet held within a network drive to enter their findings whilst listening to the actual noise app recordings.
I was thinking the Assessments sheet could be useful to record findings and link straight in to the noise sru rather to speed up the process rather than having to go to a network drive and find the sheet.
Does anyone use the Noise App and/or how do you record your findings. Is the Assessment sheet the best way?
It would just be for very simple information, nothing too complex.

Our guys have been using Noise App in a very limited way (they keep forgetting to suggest it to customers 😮) over the past year. They do not really utilise APP much in this part of the process though - they may record basic findings on the SRU action diary, and possibly link the recording to it if further action is deemed necessary, but the process remains pretty manual here I am afraid. Would be interested to hear about experiences if anyone does use Assessments though...
