Food Registration assessments

Dear All

The FSA want Authorities to risk premises in the submission of a food registration form. From my understanding food registrations have to be assessed and scored. It is based on the 1st 4 parameters for FH inspections. There are 2 scores generated - 1st one returns a next inspection date of 30 days, 2nd one is 90 days.

To accommodate this I have created a new inspection type of food registration desktop assessments and configured the 4 parameters with Next Inspection Date in PRF. I have also configured a new visit type to use in inspections. Each premise that has to be assigned the inspection type in order to generate the risk. This does work.

Civica were unaware of this and are reviewing. They seem to want to amend the FH inspection type rather than using a new one. I am not sure how this can be achieved.?

Hi Karen

Yes this this is in addition - it is creating a risk assessment from food registrations. The Head of the Food Team brought it to my attention. Apparently, is in the Code of Practice sent in October 2025 (page 33!)

Cannot open a window

I am trying to open the Op. Scheds window on this MAU record.

I keep getting this error message

I've reset the user profile that has the record locked, even though they have never been in this record.

Other records are fine, just this one.

Additional Export Format Issue

I'm trying to create a Word document in SRU and linking to NAU as an Additional Export Format in the EXD file. I have unique codes for client and subject but when exporting in SRU Action Diary it prompts both names in a pop up window and inputs data from which ever is selected - even if the unique code does not match in the EXD - selecting just over rules this. I would normally use names and addresses field in parent record (SRU) but I need to pull out individual elements (title, first and surname). Is this a limitation of the system or am I missing something?

Just realised its due to the limitations of one to many vs many to one. i.e an NAU can have multiple Type codes, the only time they are set/unique is when they are defined/given context in a parent record (SRU, INU, etc) so therefore the only way to pull out specific NAU details is from that parent module.

Filepath Length

Good morning - just a general query. Can anyone remember the number of characters permitted for a filepath when linking documents to action diaries? I need to send a reminder to users and I am struggling to remember.

Many thanks

Sue

I'm pretty sure there is still a limit as I have had to cull filenames occasionally in the past but I've no idea what that limit actually is. I note that on our system the so called L drive document store location now often seems to often have the full server path in too rather than L:\ - however I haven't had to do any renaming for a good while.
